The bubbles give it a watery look. Kinda cool.

This may sound kinda weird, but when I look at the picture of the bubbly piece, it has a strong impact on how I feel. I immediately feel peaceful, like I'm underwater and floating slowly up, with the bubbles. I feel like it has an effect at a vibrational level within me.

Not weird at all, considering that we're mostly water. I get the same effect. What's weird is the effect your bb placement in the center of your coil has on me. I can't take my eyes off it.....somehow the bb's seem to change the shape of the coil's field.

Do you mind sharing how you do it? Hot water around the container maybe? Oven?

Radiator in the winter. Hot plate or coffee warmer in summer.

That's not weird at all. I had the exact same impression about the bubbles. There's definitely an appeal there.

They are so beautiful! I especially love the one with malachite in the tip.

I love the bubbles - reminds me of being underwater too. If I ever pour my own I will be making a seabed themed one for sure.

I do love the pics here. Very cool indeed. Just curious, what would be the best way to post a jpeg photo? I searched the forum for a while but figured to just ask you all. Thanks for the time involved. Smile

Cardinal,
You need to upload the pictures to a web server and then create a hyperlink to them in your Warrior Matrix post. You cannot upload your .jpegs directly to the Warrior Matrix site.

What beautiful pieces. Number 4 & 8 are my favorites and is the shape I poured today and had the problem with.

Your work is fantastic.

Thanks Willow.

When I first started making the energy wands (four and eight), the pieces would come out of the mold with some of the crystals exposed because they were pressed up against the mold wall during curing. Here's how I figured out how to prevent it.

The tip of the wand will have clear resin, so when you pour that tip, slowly twirl and coat the entire inside of the mold first. This will leave a thin coat of resin on the walls. When you pour the second layer, do the coating again. Now when you pour the other layers, there will already be a combined two thin layers of resin established on the outside, which prevents shavings or crystals pushing through to the surface. Good luck!
