Thanks for the tip Brett!

I'll do it that way next time I pour them. Hopefully I can get them out of the containers once they spend some time in the freezer. If not I'll have to go buy some more molds.

I'm trying to look on the bright side because if they don't come out whole I can always break the glass to recover the pieces and put them in the chembuster we're planning on making soon. That way they at least they won't be a complete loss.

Learning curves Embarassed lol.

After it cures, put it in the fridge for 30 minutes, then the freezer for 15 to 30 minutes. Take it out and hold in both hands to maximize heat transfer to the glass. Lightly tap the mold on a hard surface several times and the piece will come out - most of the time. I still break an occasional glass.

Gorgeous work as always. I like the wands, now that i know what to call them. Smile Is there bronze in the very first picture...? Could be brass but I get the feeling brass it the next layer up from what looks like bronze.

The tip of the wand will have clear resin, so when you pour that tip, slowly twirl and coat the entire inside of the mold first. This will leave a thin coat of resin on the walls. When you pour the second layer, do the coating again. Now when you pour the other layers, there will already be a combined two thin layers of resin established on the outside, which prevents shavings or crystals pushing through to the surface.

I can attest to this, having done this myself for some time now. Also, I recently found that the gems or crystals on the top layer sometimes end up with a chatoyance, or shimmer, with the light refracting through the thin layer of clear resin. Even gems and crystals that don't seem to have much shimmer take on this chatoyance. I think it gives them a certain mystique. Smile

Thanks Kieron. That's brass in the first one, from Orgone Crystals. I haven't used bronze yet.

Brett, can you tell me what the black layer in photo #3 is? Its in photo #8 too and what is the clear/white layer in #8 on top of the black layer. They are both so beautiful. I can't figure out if its black sand and crushed crystals or what it is but I'd sure like to source some of both. I don't see anything like that on OC, can you also tell me where you found them?

Thanks!

The black layer in #3 is a small amount of black iron oxide powder, iron filings, and fine aluminum shaving crumbs that settled at the bottom of the bag. You can ask for and get the iron filings from a brake shop. They accumulate in piles from rotor machining operations.

The black layer in #8 is actually dark green. It is Fuchsite crumbs, which end up looking dark green when cast in resin. The light golden layer above is Muscovite Mica. They were both gifted to me.

BTW, Fuchsite is also known as Green Muscovite Mica. As a result, these complimentary stones result in a nice feeling energy when used together in orgonite.

Now that I look closely at #8 I can see where it looks really deep dark green instead of black, I hadn't heard of either one of them.

Thanks for the tip on the iron filings, my sons friend owns a brake shop so I'm sure I can get some filings from him. We also have a friend who owns a machine shop so I am able to get copper, alum. & stainless steel from him free which is a blessing.

Your trick to get things out of molds worked perfectly. I just put them in the fridge for a few minutes and then to the freezer for a few and they popped right out with no problem.

Thanks for all your help!

You are so welcome Willow. You and I are fortunate to have found this forum, which I believe is the premiere site for learning how to make orgonite properly. Have fun!

I wholeheartedly agree Brett, this is the best forum there is for learning all about orgonite. It didn't take me long to figure that out once I started looking for a site I could trust. An added bonus is that the people here are so willing to share.

I'm having the time of my life learning to pour, there is nothing quite like how happy orgonite makes me Very Happy

Prehnite Energy Wand
This orgonite energy wand has a small Prehnite rough sphere in the tip above a layer of Muscovite Mica. Underneath are pieces of tumbled Green Aventurine and Amethyst. The lower half is packed with copper and brass shavings, as well as Clear Quartz and Black Tourmaline. At the bottom is an SBB (Saint Buster’s Button) copper coil, Selenite and Blue Kyanite.

Small Giza Amethyst Pyramid
A small tumbled Amethyst rests on a bed of Black Tourmaline, followed by a layer of copper shavings, then more Amethyst crystals. This small Giza orgonite pyramid also contains Clear Quartz, Selenite and Blue Kyanite. An SBB coil in the bottom is oriented to direct orgone energy from the bottom towards the tip.

Small Heart Pendants
The face of one of these orgonite pendants features crushed Red Tourmaline, and the other multi-colored pieces of Tourmaline (Green, Pink, Black, Golden, Watermelon). Each has a four-leaf clover piece made of gold-plated copper. These pendants also contain crushed Clear Quartz, Black Tourmaline, Selenite, Blue Kyanite, copper and brass shavings, and several very small ST (single-terminated) Quartz mini-points.

Cardinal,
You need to upload the pictures to a web server and then create a hyperlink to them in your Warrior Matrix post. You cannot upload your .jpegs directly to the Warrior Matrix site.

Brett

Thank you Brett, for your assistance. Great pieces as well. Keep doing what you do brother

Brett all of your pieces are just wonderful but I especially love the power wands. They are very special and speak to me each time you post a picture of one. If you sell them can you PM me, I'd love to purchase one.

Here are some pictures of my latest batch. I put Selenite and Blue Kyanite in the top of personal Tower Busters for the first time. I'll be doing it again! I also like the red-on-red pyramid (red Zincite on a layer of Red Carnelian), and the lime green Zincite-tipped pyramid. - Brett
