Greetings fellow warriors

Here's my rainbow moonstone with blue kyanite shards with quarts point and powder with bismuth as the metal component:

2nd is a test of key shavings, iron oxide mixed resin, crystal point and powder with some kyanite. Wanted to see how much the brass would 'pop' with the black resin. (Have some 24k leaf coming today)

Dusted a layer in the silicone mold prior to pour, laid the point, then alternate layers of metal and crushed crystal, resin, then laid up kyanie, more layers, then dusted to top of the mold twice. Going to fill in the top (back of pendant) with a clear resin coat to set the brass showing there. Didn't take a pic of the backside before heading to work (and patch/coat the flaw on face)

3rd one is Bismuth, Quartz, 2 Amethyst and Kyanite in the back

Can't wait to start gifting these. Sending a few to my 2 nieces when my Mom drives to Calgary. Might need some glitter and such :p

Cheers,

Matt

Love the moon stone...the shimmering rainbow effect is beautiful!

Those pendants are great! Very inviting and mysterious.

It does have a beautiful vibe, thanks!

One cool impromptu technique I did, to give the resin a blue hue, was to hit a kyanite shard in my mortar. Turned into a ton of small needle shards. Dropped a bunch in while layering and it wove into the matrix nicely.

Gotta say the moonstone makes quite an impressive looking piece. Thank you for the pictures.

My 24k leaf with Iron Oxide test:

Few flaws to clean up, but not bad visibility of the gold.

Edit: after I got the 30 Thai stamps delivered, I realized that I've used these before in Thailand! When you go visit the temples, you get a couple stamps to press on to the various statues of Buddhist Monks. Didn't actually think at the time that it was real gold ... lol

No Lemurs here in YXE, I may have to order some. The quartz point that I felt should go in was Rutilated. Many clear striations. Supposed to be good for meditation and dreams. Had it under my pillow last night and felt great this morning. Can't recall my dreams but it felt quite long and full of experience.

Same minus Gold plus Bismuth:

Similar as above but with Garnet: (Mom and Niece's birthstone)

Think this is a mix of garnet, bismuth, black tourmaline and quartz / point

My first Lemurian Seed + Bismuth + Selenite needles blended into resin:

Thanks!

Got my iolite late this week and crafting today. 3 pieces curing in the sun as I write this.

One was way too massive for my molds, so it likely will end up double cast as an egg lol.

2/3 are made with seed crystals, so they will have some nice juice. Will post up tmrw.

Take Care ~
