In the U.S. I get most of my metal oxides and other powdered metals from these 2 sites.

http://alphachemicals.com/

http://www.axner.com/

Their prices are great and between the 2 they have a lot of different oxides and powdered metals.

Look at the fineness of the fumed silica on the Plasmachem site. That has great applications in orgonite for enhancing and balancing certain metal powders. It could be mixed with the 40 nm copper powder for instance. All the really small stuff is too expensive to be used in field grade orgonite, but for those special energy pieces it can be well worth it. When I use up my 3 micron copper I am going to get some of the nano copper and silica to see what happens in orgonite.

Here is a nanometer to micron translator:

Thanks for the links. I had found the Plasmachem site last year and then somehow lost it and couldn't remember or relocate it, so it is great to find it again

I need to backtrack on the "fumed silica." That is not necessarily finely divided quartz. It is often just fine glass powder without the crystalline lattice intact, so it would have limited value in orgonite. The trick is to find very finely divided true crystalline quartz powder. Modern day alchemists achieve it most often with very aggressive acids. I am not having much luck finding it in that form though I haven't queried the alchemy community yet in any depth. Short of commissioning a lab to do it as Sensei did with the lemurian quartz reduction it may be difficult to find such minutely dissolved quartz "off the shelf."

plasmachem will also nanosize any material for you, their site says.
maybe send them some good crystals? prolly pricy though.

I cut some quarts crystals up with a 350 grit diamond wheel and water.
dry the crystal sludge, leaves a very fine powder, guess its about half a micron or so. its like dust....

you could also get a 600 or 1200 grit diamond disc it would make even finer powder. (normally for faceting gems)

6 inch metal diamond disc 1200 grit for 24 dollar. pretty cheap if you ask me.... (dont buy the resin bonded discs!)
