Just wondering what everyone else is reading now?

This is what I'm reading, in addition to about 30 browser tabs I'm putting on hold for a few days to read Lakhovsky.

I just got the Lakhovsky in yesterday and am super excited to read it today and this weekend.

I haven't heard of him. Is he worth checking out?

I enjoy reading the Law of One here and there. It's pretty dense so I find myself taking it in doses.

Even though I am technically not a buddhist, I agree with some of their conclusions and techniques. I love the 8 volume set of the Shurangama Sutra with commentary by Hsuan Hua. Volume 8 is especially cool. Lots and lots of jewels to be found in its' pages. I go back to it again and again to raise my spirit.

Diogenes, I am technically a Buddhist but I love Jesus too and I read a lot of Taoism. I was a taoist before I was a buddhist, but taoist temples have been wiped off the face of the planet, except for the Falun Gong movement that has terrific free pdf literature on their website in English, really dynamite stuff. For real Buddhism i recommend checking out the older more orthodox Therevadan teachings instead of that new age Tibetian Mahayana brand of buddhism popular among hippies, which is fine too I guess.

There are only ten are so English speaking Buddhist monks capable of accessing even the first of the 9 levels of Buddhist trance called 'jhana' that leads immediately to nirvana and eventually to enlightenment & liberation. Don't waste your time with any teacher who can't achieve the jhanas. The monk above is one such individual. Ajahn Brahm is another who can sit down, start meditating, & achieve jhana in 5 mins, everytime. They famously dont like each other & they're both on youtube.

Dibspace, this Lakhovsky YES is def worth checking out. It is exactly what I was looking for but it is dense stuff & is pretty much kicking my ass right now. I just need to put the bong away for a min n focus here. I've been studying so ive got a real clue n i feel like i have a grasp of some of the basics n im pointed in the right direction, but this is very difficult reading for me. It took me a whole day to get thru the translators introduction and the first three chapters until I got to the good stuff on oscillating circuits. Lakhovsky dumbs it down as much as it can possibly be dumbed down.

I have seen some i suspect orgonite guys on electrical engineering forums asking same questions i'm googling like about how to turn devices creating voltage into a polyphase system to hook into a home battery, but they don't speak the legalese & it's pretty funny...

So Lakhovsky pretty much kicked my ass. I read up until ch 5 where he explains oscillating resonating tuned induction coils, & realized I didn't understand well enough so I stopped reading Lakhovsky until I truly understand what heck is induction. Here is the book I must read halway or 3/4 thru reading, first:

The Theory, Design and Construction of Induction Coils

https://books.google.com/books/about/The_Theory_Design_and_Constructio n_of_In.html?id=jysFAAAAMAAJ

Induction was only discovered in the early 1900's, & after Tesla figured it all out he sold his patent for ac to Westinghouse for $65k. Then there was a free for all where everyone was manufacturing their own power until the 'War of the Currents' between Edison & Westinghouse in the 20's. Westinghouse won bc of Tesla and the govt stepped in and made the manufacture of electricity a government monopoly, & they changed all the definitions of electricity that existed LESS THAN A HUNDRED YEARS AGO to make the true secrets of electricity unpenetratable.

It is impossible to build an induction coil that makes plasma sparks without some kind of mechanical or electrolytic interruptor, which although widely available for sale by a great number of builders in the early 1900's when people drove horses n buggies now in the iPhone age it is no longer possible to purchase either an electrolytic (saltwater) interruptor but in particular the mechanical interruptor required to operate an induction coil at high voltages like Tesla did is only available for high-energy nuclear particle research, despite they are not illegal or particularly dangerous and any halfway decent machinist could easily build me a good one from plans for $500 or $1000, so why can't I buy a mechanical interruptor from a physics supply store or Ebay or ANYWHERE else, or proper platinum electrical contacts for alternating current, from Home Depo? ? Hmmmm? Because the physics of an induction coil is how pole transformers CREATE watts. When you run high voltage thru a pole transformer, you are actually creating electrons and amps where none previously existed, which is a violation of Newton's supposed Law of the Conservation of Energy, but we have been dumbed down and fed a lie for nearly 100 years now bc they violate this 'Law' right over our heads on every pole transformer in the country.

A watt is the same thing as a joule, volts times amps, so how come they got two different words for the same thing? Because they could not control a population of citizens able to manufacture their own electricity w/ a simple off-grid (high-frequency induction) generator plugged straight into a used pole transformer, like this guy does:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3Spf5WVGgSY

An alternating current sine wave is the same thing as a radio frequency sine wave, & remember the radio frequency is created by the alternating current VOLTAGE itself, so why they have two different words for the same damn signal, hmmmm?
