I just read the link provided by angel_007 posted in Dec/05. Can someone please explain to me what an "URL" is. What do those letters stand for, as well as the "IP address". What's that? If anyone has read that info and could explain instructions #4 and #5, I would appreciate it. I am not very educated as far as computer applications and terminology goes. I've only been using a computer for about a year now and I've never taken a course or held a job where I've had to use one. I'm slowly learning though. I'd like to try this out, but I need it explained to me in terms I can understand. Thanks. Much appreciated.

www.warriormatrix.com is a URL. (Uniform Resource Locater)

An IP address is a unique number assigned to your computer when you log onto the internet. It is provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). For the most part, this number remains constant.

You can find your IP address by hitting start>run>cmd (ok) and they typing in the following command (ping your computer name) In my case, I type in ping Cece. The result is my IP address.

There are ways to hide your unique IP address. One way is to sit behind a piece of hardware called a router. It projects a unique address that provides a small measure of security to your real IP.

Another way is by use of a "proxy". When using a proxy, you do not directly connect to a URL from your home IP...you do so through various servers located throughout the world. If you are interested in hiding your IP while you surf the net I recommend:

http://tor.eff.org
http://www.privoxy.org/

Like Edge, I always assume I am monitered.

"Google" any term you are unfamiliar with. You will receive a fast education.
