Does anyone know of any reason for my computer to keep loosing its drivers?

All of them?

I am running XP PRo SP2 (legit) and every few days or so I start to loose the installed drivers. This is happening even after a complete reformat of the system and a trip to my favorite repair guy. I had everything cleaned and checked and with the exception of a fan that needed replacing, (cause I broke it) everything was peachy.

Only thing new is wireless network card used only for connecting to the household server. I have a cable line for connecting to the internet.

Thanks in advance.

morning,
What drivers do you have to keep reinstalling?
Which device, make and model?

Curious to know as sometimes MS downloads overwrite drivers from the OEM.

That's a strange problem, but it explains a lot of things that happen on my computer at work. Fortunately the IT guy found out I had a bad hard drive and replaced it.

Could also be hacker-mischief, or viral-damage.
