| Today when going around machine shops connecting with supplies of shavings I was given a large ball of zirconium turning. Has this been used in orgonite with noticeable effects? I do know that it is very flammable, so would that make it dangerous when exposed to the heat of the resin curing? Very curious, any info would be appreciated. Thanks |

From the Wiki...
| Quote: | | The melting point of zirconium is at 1855°C, and the boiling point is at 4409°C. |
It shouldn't catch fire, but as for the orgone properties, the only zirconium I have heard of before now is zirconium diamonds.

I cast a 5" dome using the majority of the ball of zirconium turnings. It was a very experimental piece, including lapis lazuli, tiger's eye, carnelion, hematite, kyanite, selenite, citrine, black tourmaline, and a nice quartz in the center. No other metals were included, so as to see the characteristics of the zirconium by itself.
It has a great vibe~! its all a very abstract feeling, hard to describe, but I can say the spectral qualities of the energy are different from any other orgone generator I have known.
edit: Pictures!
