hi there, I am a beginner to making orgonites and was wondering if I can use the semi-precious beads that you get at michaels? does the drilling of the hole into the stone decrease the effectivity of the stone?
thanks

There's no reason why it should. _________________ "I love the smell of curing resin in the morning..." |

Sweet! thanks guys...I appreciate the info.
One of my friends had said it might decrese the effectivity of the stone and just thought I'd double check with someone who knows more than i do!
do you know any websites that sell crystals not too expensive. Also I am looking for a spiral shell mold. Do you know where I could find one of those?
thanks! |

| I agree with Sensei that they are probably fine for making Organite, but from a purely intellectual standpoint, it should be noted that drilling crystals does alter the energy just a bit. That being said I go to beading supply stores to get my semiprecious stones, and the beads usually have drill holes. No biggie. |
