Gridman Dan:
Does the qi flow along the lines of the grid? If so,
(i) does it always flow in the same direction?
If (i) is true,
(ii) is there a rule to indicate in which direction the qi flows along any given grid line?

Laozu,

In Bruce Cathie's book "Harmonic 695", he explains that vortex points (along his octohedral grid) involve several intersection points working together to create a vortex:

"A book written by Siegfried Wittman was published in Innsbruck,
Austria, in 1952. It was titled Die Welt Der Geheimen Machte, or
The World Of The Secret Forces.

An unusual number of people were involved in the research that
went into the subject-matter of the book. The group formed a very
impressive mixture of professional minds to be focussed upon one
project: Dr. Willi Schlosser; Prof. Hellmut Wolff;Hans-Wilhelm Smollk;
Heinrich Reblitz; Theodor Weiman; Herbert A Lohlein; Ferdinand
Reich; Univ. Prof. Dr. Hubert J. Urban; Dir. Prof. Dr. K Sailer;
Prof. Dr. George Anschutz; Prof. Dr. Theol; and Adolf Koberle.
After extensive research they came to the conclusion that the
earth has upon its surface a grid system, in a checkerboard pattern
consisting of positive and negative poles.

The squared pattern, according to them, has a centre pole surounded
by eight smaller poles within each section. The squares
vary in size from the equator, getting smaller in the direction of the
earth's poles. The main pole concentrates energy. Experiments
conducted at north latitude 48? indicated that the centre pole has a
diameter of 2.45 metres. The eight smaller poles have a diameter
of 60 cm. Four of the eight outer poles send energy up toward the
sky alternate pulses. The other four send energy outward horizontally
to the north, south, east and west.

The squares at 48? north latitude are 15.9 metres diagonally from
centre to centre poles. A border field is mingled together in the
north-west and south-east directions, and in the south-west and
north-east directions. These four corners of the squares seem to
connect the fields of two of the negative smaller poles, and two of
the positive smaller poles. The side length measurements at the
equator are 32 metres long. The main centre pole of each positive
square shows a direction of energy from above to below the earth's
surface. The created pulse forms a vortex. The negative poles work
in the opposite sense."

This reference seems to describe what you were talking about earlier; that a vortex may not have to be on a grid line or intersection. The paragraph I described earlier seems to be talking about a subdivided version of cathie's grid, as the squares are really small. We know that there is most certainly more than one earth grid, so again, we are opening up more questions. Smile

Perhaps the vortex dynamic are different on various grids. Perhaps larger points are intersections? Anyways, thanks for bringing this concept to my attention Laozu. Smile

Most likely one or more of the grids is aligned/oriented with the magnetic pole. This would suggest a flow reversal would occur over time, but generally would remain constant.

Unfortunately I don't have that specific information just yet. I'm still in the process of finding precise grid points and defining each grid. If I use the acupuncture parallel, there should be a definite directional flow for one of the grids. Some evidence suggest the great pyramid as an anchor point for all grids, some lines converging and some lines emanating from the point. We will soon shed light on all of this.

I guess I'm saying the vortexes were there in the beginning or since they have been there for so long the erosion and sedimentary some how effect by the vortex. Leaving a taller mountain, hill or depression, canyon etc...

The Devil's Punch Bowl vortex was located in a canyon about the size of the vortex.

Have to test more theories. My plate keeps filling up with more and more stuff. More new stuff to learn.

Grid lines seem to represented as more or less along the earth's surface. In Dan's website on grids he speaks of "dragon lines" (long mai) as grid lines which are not straight. I have heard them referred to as "di mai" (earth lines) as well, and it is quite often the case in China that a temple is built on a good one, or on the intersection of several.

But it also happens that a temple, or place of self-cultivation is built on a place where the qi lines flow vertically rather than horizontally. There is an ancient temple, used by many different religions over the years, on the northern mountain Hengshan, which is built on a cliff face, supported on the downhill side by poles. Here a strong stream of positive qi flows down out of the heavens into the temple, and I found that in the place where the qi enters the ground, is a spot set aside for quiet sitting. A similar site is the cave on the hill overlooking the shao-lin temple where the famous Buddhist monk Da Mo sat in contemplation for years. Here also streams positive qi from above into the ground where the sage is said to have sat.

With the vortices I have observed, the qi comes up from deep below and, when they are cleared, it passes out of the ground up into the heavens. It is vertical rather than horizontal action taking place.
