Hello,

I'm wondering if any of the products on this page would be suitable for orgonite pouring, and if so which would be best in terms of contracting the quartz crystal, and clarity. I used bondo the first time, and my little pieces are sitting outside in the sun, still, a few days later...quite smelly... I wanted to sell these, but I had no idea bondo was coloured... so I'm looking for cheaper source of clear resin, either in Calgary or shipped from within Canada.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Thanks!

I'd recommend calling their customer service rep and asking for a water clear casting resin.

Bondo's great. Reliable, with good compression. You can use opaque colors with it, like the iron oxides, or brush the mold with Pearl-ex to make them more attractive.

Re: selling orgonite: The thought of anyone trying to sell their first pour makes me cringe. Maybe I misunderstood?

Please don't try to sell your orgonite until you understand what you're doing. Please don't sell your orgonite until your own skills and energy senses have time to develop. Resin has a learning curve. If you had much pouring experience you'd know that adding a little more catalyst speeds the cure. That means the smell will dissipate more quickly.

There's just no substitute for practice.

Hello,

That company doesn't ship to Canada, so it's back to bondo from Candian Tire. I have had a lifetime of active spiritual practice, my energy senses are quite intact. I started working with crystals when I was 8, and TM when I was 6, among other things. However, i understand what you are saying about the learning curve regarding resin, and general practice learning something new.

I would still really like to find clear resin, for it's aesthetic appeal.

Work with what you have. Use your creativity and intuition (energy senses) to make it effective and attractive.

Actions speak louder than words, particularly when blowing your own horn.

As someone who has only recently decided sharing that side of things would be okay and acceptable in society, I stand corrected. I don't know what would qualify as 'actions' on a forum such as this, and am going through an extremely rough time right now, so additional, expanded orgonite projects will have to wait. My sincere apologies, and I will not mention such a topic again.

One additional question, how long does off-gassing of bondo last? Is there anything I could coat them with, clear lac, etc to contain this?

Thanks,
Angela

Most of the off gassing will occur after 48 hours and will be hastened if left in the sun.

Welcome to WarriorMatrix, we are glad that you are here.

I better leave them to offgas before giving to people then , oops.... luckily the ones so far seem to have been not smelly fairly quickly but we have had some scorcher days.
